There have been no more incidents involving stolen credit card information since the arrest of a Don Juan waiter, said Pleasantville Police Chief Richard Love.
"There has been nothing since the arrest," Love stressed.
While reported victims continue to alert police to incidents that allegedly took place prior to the arrest of Don Juan Mexican Restaurant waiter Gerardo J. Vera, no new incidents have occurred.
Vera, a 42-year-old Bronx resident, is charged with Criminal Possession of a Forgery Device, a Class D Felony.
Love said police believe Vera acted alone and added Don Juan Owner Juan Rodriguez, who was not immediately available for comment, "fully cooperated with the investigation."
Vera appeared in village court on May 14 and is due back on May 28. Love said, however, that the case will likely move on to be prosecuted by the U.S. District Attorney's Office.
