Recent Driving Arrests in Briarcliff Manor

Here's a recap of some of the recent driving-related arrests Briarcliff Manor Police have performed in the village:
Friday, May 24
11:11 a.m. — Police stopped a vehicle on Pleasantville Road after a license plate reader identified the registration as being suspended. The vehicle was impounded and the driver was taken to police headquarters for processing. While at the department, police were able to confirm the registration was not suspended. The owner's insurance company also provided proof that the insurance had not lapsed. Police released the vehicle and the driver, who was issued other unspecified summonses.
Saturday, May 18
10:00 a.m. — Police stopped a vehicle on Route 9 and arrested the driver, a 30-year-old Spring Valley man, for allegedly driving with a suspended license. He was processed and released on $60 bail with a returnable court date of May 22.
Thursday, May 16:
8:34 p.m. — Police stopped a vehicle on Route 9A and proceeded to arrest the driver, a 30-year-old Port Chester man, for allegedly driving a vehicle with a suspended status. The man was processed at police headquarters and released on $100 bail.
Wednesday, May 15
12:21 a.m. — Police stopped a vehicle drive on Route 9A and subsequently arrested the driver, a 21-year-old Elmsford man, for allegedly driving a vehicle with a suspended registration. He was released on $100 bail with a returnable court date of June 12.
