Meet wildlife here at the Preserve and learn about how we can protect these beautiful creatures!

Greenburgh Nature Center will be visiting and bringing some of their ambassador animals for you to meet at this fantastic first-time event!

  • box turtle
  • frogs and toads
  • chinchilla
  • and others!

Come and learn how wildlife around the world (and in our backyard) is being affected by environmental changes (natural and anthropogenic) such as habitat loss, invasive species, poaching, pollution, etc. This program is offered in partnership with the Greenburgh Nature Center, a leader in environmental education and sustainable practices that inspires people of all ages to love and respect the natural world.

We’ll meet in the Visitor’s Center courtyard, rain or shine. The event will take place in a well-ventilated covered space. Please bring a mask if you are not vaccinated.

Cost: FREE!!! We are waiving all fees for this special event!
