Thalle Industries donates $10,000 to Westchester Parks Foundation’s Camp Morty
The donation will help furnish a cabin for Camp Morty's Merriwood program.

Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.—Thalle Industries donated $10,000 on July 9 to the Westchester Parks Foundation’s Camp Morty, a free residential summer camp for underserved youth in North Salem, N.Y.
The donation will help furnish a cabin for Camp Morty’s Merriwood program, which provides empowerment and leadership development for campers ages 13–15.
“We really appreciate all the things that Thalle Industries does for our parks foundation,” said Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins. “This is about Camp Morty and it’s certainly about making sure that all our young folks get this great opportunity to be here. Thank you so much for this outstanding contribution.”

Known for its environmentally responsible production of high-quality virgin and recycled aggregates, concrete and asphalt products for the construction industry, Thalle Industries is a long-time supporter of organizations that serve youth.
“This is a great facility,” said Thalle Industries president and CEO Glenn Pacchiana. “Merriwood is a great program for tween kids, so we are excited to participate and super happy to be in North Salem.”

Thalle Industries is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2025 and the Camp Morty gift is one of several donations throughout the year.
“Thalle Industries’ contribution will directly impact the lives of our teens by providing a safe, welcoming space that supports personal growth and leadership,” said Joe Stout, executive director at the Westchester Parks Foundation. “We are incredibly grateful for their partnership and commitment to our mission.”
Founded in 2006, Camp Morty is in the scenic Sal J. Prezioso Mountain Lakes Park. The camp serves children in foster care, living in shelters, or under protective services, offering a transformative summer experience in a nurturing environment.
