Yesterday evening, Pleasantville's Board of Trustees heard an updated presentation by Benchmark Senior Living, regarding its proposal to build an 87-unit assisted living facility adjacent to the United Methodist Church on Bedford Road. 2. Author, photographer and lecturer Kevin Woyce will be at the Mount Pleasant Public Library at 7 p.m. this evening to discuss the history of lighthouses. Get the details here.
3. Hudson Line commuters—Metro North reports as of Monday night: "Late-night busing will be in effect on the Hudson Line south of Yonkers from July 22-July 25th beginning at 10 PM and continuing for the remainder of the evening...Customers should expect additional travel time of 30-45 minutes."
4. Sick of your steering wheel being too hot to the touch? Relief may be on the way in the form of scattered thunderstorms today.
