Two Taconic Accidents in Briarcliff [Updated]
Briarcliff Manor Police dispatched the Fire Department and Ambulance Corps to the scenes.

Update, 12:16 p.m.:
"We had two separate motor vehicle accidents today," Bob O'Hanlon, Briarcliff Manor Fire Department's first assistant chief, told Patch in an email.
O'Hanlon said the first accident occurred "near mile marker 5.0."

Two vehicles were involved and one person was transported to Westchester Medical Center with minor injuries, he said.
Then at 9:10 a.m., a second accident occurred at mile marker 6.1, involving three vehicles. One person was taken to Westchester Medical Center with minor injuries.

Two vehicles involved in the second accident were towed from the scene, O'Hanlon said.

People were reportedly injured in two morning accidents in Briarcliff Manor this morning, village police said.
Accidents were reported on the Taconic State Parkway at 8:15 a.m. and 9:11 a.m., officers reported.
New York State Police and the Briarcliff Manor Fire Department and Ambulance Corps responded to both accidents.
According to Briarcliff Manor Police, the first accident occurred in the southbound lanes of the road near Route 9A.
The second accident occurred near the Pleasantville Road exit.
