4 Inches Of Rain Could Fall In Weekend Storms: Hudson Valley Forecast
We finish out a "topsy-turvy" month cold and wet. Here are the details.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Two storms will bring us rain this weekend and into the beginning of May, with temperatures continuing to chilly, in the high 50s and low 60s during the day and in the mid-40s at night.
There's good and bad news about that, said Alex Sosnowski, AccuWeather senior meteorologist
"The combination of the two storms will bring a general 1–2 inches of rain with local amounts between 2–4 inches. That is enough rain to alleviate dry conditions," he said. "Flooding problems will be limited because both storms will move along at a swift pace."

However, athletic fields will be saturated due to showers Friday through Saturday night.
A respite in the rain will be short-lived, and downpours will begin Sunday afternoon. They may be accompanied by thunder, lightning and gusty winds, specially along the Long Island Shore.

By the end, dry conditions will no longer prevail.

After the storms pass, it will get even chillier as more of that Canada air plunges southeast.
"The first half of April may have been more like summer ... but now for the end of April we're heading back to March-like weather," said the folks at Hudson Valley Weather. "A topsy-turvy month of weather for the Hudson Valley."
