EVERY week, ALL winter, the Pleasantville Farmers Market has something to offer -- depending on what you are looking for.
- Seeking warm service on brisk days? Our farmers and food artisans aim to know their customers, share their knowledge, and provide excellent options for your meals -- with a smile.
- Seeking fast service on wintry days? Fast pick up of preorders can be enjoyed from Maple View Farm, Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse, Edgwick Farm, and Spice Revolution. Use the info in the "Winter Details" section below to place preorders in advance.
- Winter weary and need a break in the kitchen? Red Barn Bakery, Pika's Farm Table, Noble Pies and Trotta Foods all have delicious prepared meals for you to choose from!
- Family has mid-winter cabin fever? Everyone loves visiting the outdoor Market for fun treats like a Pika's waffle, Pickle Licious pickle-on-a-stick, Knot of This World Pretzel, pastries from Bien Cuit or Orwasher's Bakery, and a hot drink or cool Tea2go from Teagevity.
We're always watching the weather (with an obvious focus on Saturdays). This Saturday the week's wet weather appears to pause, creating a pleasant forecast of "Mostly Market" from 9:30am - 12:00pm. We'll take 43° and dry at 10am anytime... see you then!

Lead Sponsor Northwell Health Tip:
"A healthy diet reduces inflammation. Most illnesses are caused by an immune response to inflammation. Eating a healthy, whole-food diet with a focus on fresh produce is an effective preventative measure against many long-term illnesses—think diabetes and heart disease—as well as short-term, acute illnesses like COVID-19." Brought to you by Northern Westchester and Phelps, your local Northwell hospitals.

The Market is accepting applications from area students, grades 8 - 12, for the our winter Intern Program. For information email info@pleasantvillefarmersmarket.org.
VENDOR HIGHLIGHTS
Both Noble Pies is now in every week with their excellent sweet and savory baked items.
Edgwick Farm has returned to the Market after kidding 88 baby goats in recent weeks! That means fresh goat milk and ri(goat)ta are back plus all their amazing goat cheeses. You can preorder from the farm using the link in the section above (by midnight Friday).
Bombay Chutney Company is back! They're highlighting their frozen heat & eat meals (Rajma, Dal, Saag, Channa, Kofta, Samosa, and Roti Roll) saying "you will feel good after eating them". Their chutneys & simmer sauces make a delicious accompaniment to these foods, or really to any meal.
Manor Sangria will visit Saturday with their small batch, specialty sangria blends.
Spice Revolution is featuring their Oatmeal Pie Bars made with rolled oats from River Valley Community Grains and a secret cinnamon blend! Cinnamon is also their highlighted spice: try out the best selling Saigon, Ceylon or their Secret Cinnamon Blend.
Gajeski Produce has items for walk up shoppers including fresh mesclun, fresh herbs, scallions, leeks, Brussels sprouts, and well-stored squash, potatoes, and roots vegetables.
Hilly Acres Farm offers a variety of pork, beef, chicken and fresh brown eggs every week. This week they're calling attention to specials on half chicken and beef short ribs.
Troota Foods has been developing a line of fully vegan pasta items that are both TASTY and informed by their years of cooking up Italian deliciousness. Stop by to learn more about these new products.
Bohemian Baked is in with their line of wheat-free breads and treats.
Hudson River Apiaries has a number of beeswax candles, cast in all sizes and shapes, and they have traditional tapers too. Beeswax candles smell great and give off less smoke than conventional candles.
Will Himalayan Delish set up to produce dumplings to eat at the Market Saturday? It looks like YES, but note that on bad weather days shoppers can still obtain their dumplings, frozen-to-go, by stopping by the Orwasher's tent on poor weather days. Take home a bag of frozen dumplings and steam for 18 minutes to enjoy them as a meal this week (plenty of delicious sauces are included). Ideally, bring an insulated bag to tote your dumplings home.
Teagevity provides a line of traditional loose leaf and herbal fruit teas to take home. They offer their popular red iced teas in convenient Tea2Go containers. And at the Market, in addition to teas and coffee, they're serving hot cups of apple cider too.
Shop Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse for artisanal cheeses produced with milk from their grass-fed free-roaming cattle, and delicious rustic breads from their wood-fired oven.
Maple View Farm is back this week. Try preordering their "Farmer's Choice Bag" which offers a bulk discount on 7-9 items of seasonal produce selected for you from a variety of roots, greens, and herbs. To preorder use the link https://www.mapleviewfarmny.com/shop. between Tuesday, 7pm thru Thursday, 7pm.
