PORT JEFFERSON, NY – Two men were taken to the hospital after they were beat up by four men outside a Port Jefferson Village bar early on New Year's Day. A 41-year-old man and a 44-year-old man, both of Lindenhurst, told police that they came out of a Main Street bar around 4:52 a.m. when they were assaulted. Police did not release the name of the bar. Both men were transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. No arrests have been made.
