Comsewogue High School Musicians Spread Holiday Cheer Throughout the Community

Comsewogue High School musicians have enjoyed a busy and festive month, sharing the spirit of the season through a series of special performances across the community.

The Comsewogue School District recently hosted the Comsewogue High School Winter and Chamber Concert, which showcased the talents of the school’s band, orchestra, and chorus with a variety of holiday selections. The concert also featured several standout chamber ensembles that performed a mix of seasonal favorites and contemporary hits, highlighting the depth and versatility of the district’s music program.

In addition to their on-campus performance, the Comsewogue High School Chamber Orchestra and Chorus kicked off the Holiday Concert Series at Long Island MacArthur Airport. Their lively performance provided festive entertainment for travelers and airport staff alike, creating a joyful and memorable atmosphere. The district extends its gratitude to the students, teachers, and parents whose support helped make this unique opportunity possible.

Continuing their outreach efforts, the Comsewogue High School Chamber Orchestra also performed at Barnes & Noble in the Smith Haven Mall, further spreading holiday cheer and showcasing student musicianship within the local community.

“Through these performances, our students not only shared their musical talents but also brought joy and a sense of community to everyone they reached,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jennifer Quinn. “We are incredibly proud of their dedication, hard work and talent in representing Comsewogue so thoughtfully throughout the community.”
