Brightview Senior Living Port Jefferson Slated to Open Fall 2022

PORT JEFFERSON STATION, NY — Brightview Port Jefferson, a new senior living community is expected to open this fall, Brightview Senior Living announced earlier this month.

Currently under construction, the new facility will feature 94 independent living apartments, 50 assisted living units, and 26 Wellspring Village apartments. The latter is a specialized neighborhood for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, according to Brightview Senior Living.

The new facility, at 1175 NY-112, is nearby the Long Island Sound, Port Jefferson Marina, Harborfront Park and Village Center, and represents Brightview Senior Living’s second community on Long Island. The first facility is on Broadway in Sayville.

“Port Jefferson is an ideal location for Brightview’s growth within Long Island,” Tammy Marshall, executive director at Brightview Port Jefferson, said in a statement. “This community is particularly special because of its proximity to the water and the endless activities that it will provide. We look forward to meeting future residents and their families at our Welcome Center before we officially open our doors to learn more about the community.”
