- When you go to the Comsewogue Public Library, stop by the Richard Lusak Gallery to appreciate the North Shore ArtGuild's exhibit "Frozen In Time." The work of various artists will be put together in a fantastic presentation starting on Dec. 1! Visitors can visit the exhibition at any time during library hours. (Patch Events)
- A vehicle crashed into a home on Fox Run Court in Port Jefferson Station on Friday afternoon. According to neighbors, that's the second time a car has hit the property. No injuries were reported. Residents are reaching out to the Town of Brookhaven for safety measurements to be done in the area. (Bronx News12)
- Is taking better care of your healthy part of your New Year's resolution? If so, Port Jefferson's "Walk Safe With A Doc" will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 10:30 a.m. Dr. Jennifer Gray will meet participants at St. Charles Hospital to talk about the benefits of walking before the group heads to the village’s streets for an awareness walk. - This is the time of the year most porches are filled with delivery boxes for the holidays. This time also can raise concerns over your item's safety as "porch pirates" are on the lookout for stealing boxes.
