Dickens Festival Rehearsals, School Board Meeting Coming This Week

Good morning and happy Monday, everyone. Here are some things to take with you as another week begins:

- Rehearsals for the village's annual Dickens Festival begin Tuesday at the Port Jefferson Village Center and the high school at 7 p.m. Rehearsal days and times may vary.

- The Port Jefferson School District's Board of Education will meet at Edna Louise Spear Elementary School on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

- Also on Tuesday, the village will show a free movie – this week it's The Hunger Games – at Harborfront Park at dusk (8:15 p.m.). 

- Psychic medium Jeffrey Wands, a regular radio personality on a Long Island radio station, will deliver a fundraiser performance on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Polish American Independent Club to benefit the National Spiritualist Association of Churches National Convention.
