With amenities including a cocoa station with all the fixings, a snack area where they can purchase items for a day on the slopes, an inventive skating rink made from a shower curtain, and ski slopes with poles fashioned from pool noodles, the students celebrated opening day with some warm chocolate and rotational jumps and spins on the rink.
They also learned about arctic animals in the tundra, a play area designed with soap flakes used as snow that featured some plastic polar bears, fox, owls and deer who make their home in the northerly regions of the world.

The students ended their busy time at Snow Valley by a wood-paneled fireplace backdrop to warm up their toes for a good seasonal story.
