Presentation: Two Great Auto Races Around the World

Jeff Mahl will give a dramatic presentation with startling photographs of two Great Auto Races around the world from New York to Paris, going west.

The first one, held in 1908 featured George Schuster (Mahl's great grandfather) who was the winner of this grueling race. This race lasted 169 days of hard to believe endurance and stamina that is astounding even in today's world.

Then, 103 years later, Mahl organized the 2nd great race, retracing many of the steps taken by the 1908 racers. To get a more detailed description of the thrill of this undertaking, check out Mahl's blog.

The group was welcomed by dignitaries, auto clubs, city and country officials, and others in cities across America and several countries including China, Russia, Poland, Kazhakstan and Germany to name a few.

The price of a ticket is only $10 and includes refreshments.
