Scholastic Book Fair

To the Book Fair and Beyond! – is part of an out-of- this-world reading event that brings to school a wonderful selection of fun, engaging, and affordable books kids want to read. Children will be visiting the Scholastic Book Fair on Thursday, Oct. 13 or Friday, Oct. 14.

If you would like your child to purchase books at that time, please send in money on those days.

Please make checks payable to Port Jefferson PTA. You may make a check out for a specific amount and they will give your child change. You may leave the check blank and we will fill in the amounts, however please write “not to exceed” and a specific dollar amount in the memo.

All major credit cards are accepted.

Suggested that parents  send children in with no more than $20 cash.

There are plenty of book choices for $5 or less. Your child only has 20 minutes to shop. If you would like to purchase additional books, please visit the Book Fair at the Family Night event on Thursday, Oct. 13 (6 – 8 p.m.)

You are also welcome to stop in during the time your child’s class is visiting the fair to assist your child in selecting books.

Please volunteer even an hour of your time. Drop in if you have unexpected free time – no one will be turned away.
