'Grumman On Long Island' Photo Tribute On Display In Port Jeff

The display is open until Feb. 28.

The Port Jefferson Village Center is holding a photo tribute to the aircraft engineering company from now until Feb. 28.

The event will formally kick off Thursday with an opening reception that will feature special guests, entertainment, a video tribute and more.

Port Jefferson Village Historian Chris Ryan will kick off the ceremony and John I. Hiz, the Village Historian of Belle Terre, will serve as the master of ceremonies.

The ceremony will run from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at the Village Center at 101A East Broadway.
