PORT JEFFERSON, NY—Port Jefferson native Elijah Riley exited Sunday's New York Jets game against the Miami Dolphins on a stretcher, with an immobilized neck, in a major injury scare. The Jets safety was later reported to be doing well, having avoided a possibly catastrophic spine or neck injury.

The New York Post reported that Jets coach Robert Saleh said Riley was doing well.

“He’s good, he checked out fine,” he said. “He’s got motion, he’s got all that stuff.”
