  1. A Smithtown motorcyclist was taken in serious condition to Stony Brook Hospital after hitting a deer in Port Jefferson, which caused him to fall off his motorcycle and hit his head on the pavement. The accident happened on East Broadway on Wednesday night. (Port Jefferson Patch)
