Motorcyclist Killed In Crash With 2 Vehicles In Suffolk: Police

MOUNT SINAI, NY — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Thursday afternoon in Mount Sinai, Suffolk police said.

Rony Juarez-Bonilla, 23, of Selden, was driving a 2012 black Kawasaki motorcycle northbound on Patchogue-Mount Sinai Road when he struck a Honda CR-V heading west at the intersection of Canal Road, police said.

The motorcyclist then collided with a 2018 Dodge Ram that was stopped in the westbound turning lane on southbound Patchogue-Mount Sinai Road at 2:03 p.m., authorities said.

Juarez-Bonilla was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The drivers of the Honda and Dodge were not injured. The motorcycle,
Dodge Ram and Honda CR-V were all impounded for a safety check.
