Mt. Sinai Civic Officers Take Oath of Office
Civic leaders, including new membership secretary, sworn in.

The Mount Sinai Civic Association recently swore in its members for the year as Legis. Sarah Anker was on hand at the monthly meeting to administer the oaths of office.
President Ann Becker, Corresponding Secretary Brad Arrington, Recording Secretary Herb Schutte and newly elected Membership Secretary Jennifer Roth all took the oath.
“Our civic leaders are the voices of our community,” Anker said. “They bring about positive changes in our neighborhoods, and I look forward to working together this year.”
Established in 1916, the Mount Sinai civic is involved in zoning issues, land preservation, traffic calming, safety issues and educating residents about political, educational and social activities. The civic meets on the first Monday of every month at 8 p.m. at the Heritage Center at North Shore Heritage Park.
