1. A new business has been welcomed in the Village by The Greater Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce. OnPoint Pharmacy is now open at 4747 Nesconset Highway in Port Jefferson Station. 2. Date night will be at Port Jefferson Long Island Explorium Museum on Saturday, Nov. 12! The museum features the "Night Out At The Museum," where parents can drop the kids off to enjoy a date night in the Village. This event is for kiddos in 1-6th grade. 3. The Greater Port Jefferson-Northern Brookhaven Arts Council Documentary Film Series will screen the "Heart and Soul" production today at 7 p.m. at John F. Kennedy Middle School in Port Jefferson. • Halloween weekend was extra busy for the New York State Police. According to official reports, there were 189 arrests for DWI and around 11,000 tickets were issued. Police said these numbers are up 42 percent if compared to last year. (LI News12)
