Ready to read more in the new year.

If reading more is a New Year's resolution, you're in luck. The Port Jefferson Library is offering Winter Reading Programs for children, teens and adults starting next month.


Children's Reading Program 2019: Golden Ticket to Reading

January 21 - February 23

Children will take a glass elevator - or a sip of Fizzy Lifting Drink - into the world of Roald Dahl's classic, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and other Dahl works.

Those ready to settle into a world of pure imagination can pick up their bingo card to start crossing off their completed books.


Teen Winter Reading Program: Anime For All

January 21- February 23

Teens will enjoy a variety of anime books, with those who read the most books winning raffle prizes.

Sign up online, starting Monday, January 21. For each book you record, you will be entered into our
raffle to win a prize basket. The program will conclude on Saturday, February 23. Winners will be called during the first week of March.

Adults ReadingProgram: Got Books

January 21 - February 23

Beginning Monday, Jan. 21, adults 18 and older with a current PJFL card are invited to register. Read or listen to THREE adult books, complete and return the reading log by 9:00 PM on Friday, March 8 to earn your PJFL swag. (Please Note: there is a limited number of swag and sizes.)
