From the classroom to the principal’s office, their mission has always been to create lasting impact, empowering others to become self-sufficient and confident. Life, however, presented a new challenge. After Gladly’s 35-fibroid removal and their journey through fertility treatments, they realized it was time for a lifestyle transformation—one that would prioritize health, wellness, and holistic living. It was during this journey Carine Chenet Gladly's sister who reside in Canada, introduced them to Monat, a company committed to help people build beautiful, healthy, purposeful life through their exceptional naturally based, vegan, clean, and non-toxic products. Inspired by the philosophy of health-conscious beauty, Maurice and Gladly envisioned a new way to serve their community—a space where wellness and luxury meet. Thus, The Morency Organization INC – Nail Lovers was born. The Port Jefferson School District announced recently that senior Aileen Schretzmayer was awarded a scholarship to Denison University and will run on the women's cross-country and track and field teams.According to the district, the scholarship recognizes Schretzmayer's "academic achievement and leadership potential."Denison University competes in the North Coast Athletic Division III Conference.During her time at Earl L. Vandermeulen High School, Schretzmayer has taken honors, college-level and Advanced Placement courses and has an interest in the arts, which led her to attend a pre-college portfolio development program at the Art League of Long Island this past summer. Her running career includes many highlights starting in seventh-grade including MVP honors, a coach's award, All-League, All- Division, a state meet qualifier and undefeated in league meets in both 800m and 1500m as a junior.
