- Two significant changes are happening in Port Jefferson Village in the next few weeks. Traffic is expected to open on Station Street in Port Jefferson,and the Crossing affordable apartments complex will inaugurate. - First responders slowly burned off propane gas from a damaged tank to avoid hazards on Tuesday night. The incident was on West Dennis Lane in Coram. Fire Marshalls could not stop the leak and had to safely burn a torch out of the pipe until the gas was emptied of the tank (Port Jefferson Patch)
