Here are the top four stories in Port Jefferson today:

1. Port Jefferson Christmas Parade kicks off Sunday and features Santa Claus marching down Main Street to the Village Center. The event starts at 3 p.m. Afterward, pictures with Santa will be available on the Center's first floor. (Port Jefferson Village Center)

4. A new holiday attraction is now open! The Christmas House Long Island is at the Smith Haven Mall and expects to host over 100,000 visitors in the Christmas season. (News 12)

• Theatre Three features ‘Barnaby, Saves Christmas’ through Dec. 30. Authors Douglas Quattrock and Jeffrey Sanzel wrote the play eighteen years ago. The musical shows Barnaby, the Elf, making sure all gifts are delivered on time, spreading the message that every day is a new opportunity to be a better yourself.
