- Port Jefferson Village released the schedule for Spring 2022 branch pickup. From April 4-22 the town will pick up the branches that are 4' in length and tied in bundles. No yard cleaning waste bags will be collected. Click here to access the dates for your area. (PJV)
- Theatre Three in Port Jefferson has a brand new children’s show titled Dorothy’s Adventures in Oz. The classic's message stays the same but a little twist will impress the audience along with over 10 original songs and dance as Dorothy and her friends travel down the Yellow Brick Road. - " An off-duty detective shot a man who was trying to burglarize his Long Island home early Saturday, police said. According to Suffolk County police, a man was breaking into a home on 5th Avenue in West Babylon at about 3:30 a.m. when the homeowner, an NYPD detective, shot the man. The man, who police did not name, was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries." (Patch)
