- Timothy Heaton, a retired correctional officer, was released from Saint Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson on Tuesday, after a long battle against COVID-19. Heaton was hospitalized in September 2021. During his journey, he had pneumonia and was in a coma for six weeks and now, after five months, he is finally back at his home in Medford. (News12)
- Theatre Three features "Youth v. Gov" on March 7. The story is about a group of young people from all over the country who sued the United States government for violating their constitutional rights. The guest speaker will be director Christi Cooper via live Zoom. (tbrnewsmedia)
- Esther S. Takeuchi, Ph.D., who is a professor at Stony Brook University, is being honored by the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) and will receive the Award in Chemical Sciences. - Port Jefferson Library will host an Empowerment & Enlightenment/ Financial, Legal & Real Estate Class.
