- Saghar in Port Jefferson is now a family dynasty after daughters joined their mom, Kulwant Wadhwa, in the business. Club Curry in Setauket closed its doors for owners Indu Kaur and Kiran Wadhwaand to fuse in the traditional Indian restaurant now called, Curry Club at Saghar in Port Jefferson. (Greater Long Island)
- A fire in East Setauket left one woman dead and a man and child seriously injured, according to official reports. The house located at 360 Old Town Road, burst into flames just after midnight on Feb. 18. A woman was found deceased on the second floor and a man and a 10-month-old baby boy were taken to the hospital. The fire is under investigation, but officials confirmed that the fire does not appear to be suspicious. (News 12 Connecticut)
