- Sal Pitti serves Port Jefferson/Terryville communities as the president of Civic Association. Over the past several years retired ex-NYPD officer, Sal Pitti, has become a major member of multiple committees, including Brookhaven Town’s Quality of Life Task Force and Suffolk County’s drug task force. Pitti worked with Suffolk County Police Department officials to close several known drug houses in the community and to find solutions for the homeless issue.
