1. The Port Jefferson School District Board of Education and District Administration invite residents to join a project called Capital Advisory Panel. The panel will present feedback on capital bond projects for the fall of 2022. The Committee board will analyze construction projects and the finances for the proposals. Anyone in the finance or construction field is a plus. Interested members can sign up using a form posted on the website www.portjeffschools.org, or calling the business Office at 631-791-4231. The first meeting is set for Thursday, Jan. 20, in the Earl L. Vandermeulen High School Library at 7:30 p.m. (Port Jefferson School District)
2. Stony Brook University health care professionals are providing resources and referrals about public health with the "Healthy Libraries Program." The program is presented in webinars where participants can ask COVID-19 and vaccine questions. 3. Nearby News: A donation drive in Bay Shore was created to help the victims of the fatal fire in the Bronx.
