  1. Sherlock Holmes Mystery’ will be playing at Port Jefferson Theatre Three. From Jan. 8- Feb. 5., Ken Ludwig’s Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery will be transformed into a funny investigation involving dizzying web of clues, silly accents, disguises, and deceit as five actors portray more than forty characters.   2. A great amount of workers across Long Island saw a bump in their pay check this week.
    Minimum wage in Nassau and Suffolk will increase to $15 an hour for all workers. It is the final increase under a multi-year plan that saw minimum wage in the city climb to $15 an hour in 2018. North of Westchester, minimum wage will increase to $13.20. (News12)

Indu Kaur, owner of SāGhar in Port Jefferson, also runs the Curry Club in Setauket and the newly renovated The Meadow Club in Port Jefferson Station, alongside with her family. She has been involved in lots of community events and charity. Kaur personally drove meals to first responders throughout the pandemic to make sure they had nice hot meals and to say "thanks".
