  1. Port Jefferson officials are discussing a plan to strengthen the area with erosion by the Village tennis court. The cost to rebuild the cliff is estimated at $10 million. A village board meeting will be scheduled to decide details of the plan on a vote. The village trustees hope the cost of the project will be granted by the State and Federal aid. There is a possibility the tennis court will be closed this summer. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
  2. Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson will host a webinar "What you should know about colorectal cancer screening." The virtual event will feature speaker Ramona Rajapakse.   3. Earl L. Vandermeulen High School varsity football player, Luke Filippi, was awarded 1st Team All-State football honors by the New York State Sportswriters Association.
