Port Jefferson Dickens Festival First Weekend Of December
Town will transform into Dickensian era scene.

If you're not feeling like a Scrooge this holiday season, the Greater Port Jefferson-Northern Brookhaven Arts Council and Village of Port Jefferson, will host the 23rd annual Charles Dickens Festival on Dec. 1 and 2.
The festival will transform the village into the Dickensian era, filling the streets with roaming characters like Father Christmas, Dickens Mayor, Scrooge, the Town Crier and the beloved chimney sweeps.
Many classic favorites will return to this year's festival, including ice skating at the Village Center, a-cappella performances by choirs and harmony groups, a Nutcracker performance, magic shows by the Great Wizard of the North, and other performances by area musicians.
