  1. The first night of the Terryville/Port Jefferson Station Polar Express Experience kicks off on Friday, Nov. 18. Kids will have the magical experience of watching the classic production while enjoying hot chocolate, cookies and popcorn! If you are interested in learning the full schedule of events and purchasing tickets, you can visit the PJST Chamber website. Space is limited to 30 people per session. (PJS CofC)
  2. Registrations are open for the Port Jefferson LI Explorium Museum Elf Workshop. Kids will be able to take their creations home. Register here. (LI Explorium)
  3. A man was arrested for stabbing his roommate in the chest over a loud music dispute. Police said Frank Liguori attacked the 31-year-old roommate because he played loud music at their residence on Merrick Road and Park Place. Liguori is facing assault charges. (LI News12)

  • Stay tuned for the great Charles Dickens Festival hosted on the first weekend of December at Port Jefferson Village! Mark on your calendar Dec. 3-4, so don't miss one of the most popular events in our community. (Port Jefferson Village Center)
  • Port Jefferson School District announced the final tour through the school facilities to decide the bond referendum is scheduled for Nov. 17. It's a one-hour session that will start at 7 p.m. Residents are asked to meet at the main lobby of the middle and high school. (Port Jefferson Patch)
