- Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Tree Festival.

Here are the top four stories in Port Jefferson today:
- The Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Festival of Trees at the Village Center. The contest features over 30 trees that our local businesses will decorate. The art pieces will be displayed on Dec. 1 on the second floor from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Visitations are free and open to all. (Port Jefferson Patch)
- Long Island Music & Entertainment Hall celebrated its grand opening event. The new venue can now be visited Wednesdays-Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. If you would like more info regarding tickets and displays, you can see the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame. (PIX11 New York News)
- Port Jefferson Station Comsewogue students decided to make a different bake sale this year. Instead of the traditional muffins and brownies, there were healthy alternatives such as a banana power bar. All sales proceeds go toward the scholarship programs. (TBR News Media)
- The Cedar Beach Plunge challenge gathered many brave community members up to a "freezing dip!" The event was held on Nov. 19. and was themed "Freezin’ for a Reason" and raised $128,000 that will go towards the Special Olympics New York organization. (TBR News Media)
