Theatre Three Looking For Donations To Install WheelChair Lifts

Theater Three is hoping to raise almost $70,000 to reach their goal to create new wheelchair lifts in the main foyer and Second Stage/Grisworld Cafe.

Theatre Three has decided to make it's theatre more accessible to those with disabilities by adding wheelchair capabilities through a new lift the company plans to install thanks to the help of local residents.

The theatre has tried to make itself more wheelchair accessible in the past but were told the only way the theatre would be able to make changes would be by installing an exterior elevator, that would have cost over half a million dollars.

The elevator was too costly of an option. So, after careful consideration and with the help of a local family, the Cosels, the company has been guided to a solution that is feasible and fiscally attainable, a lift.
