Vehicle Stolen From Port Jefferson Station; Man Wanted: Police

The vehicle was located at the Wyandanch train station a few hours later, police say.

PORT JEFFERSON STATION, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the man who, police said, was in possession of a vehicle stolen from a Port Jefferson Station home in May.

A 2017 Nissan Maxima was reported stolen from a Joline Road home during the overnight
hours of May 3, police said. The Nissan was found at the Wyandanch train station a few hours later, police said. The man is wanted for criminal possession of stolen property.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
