
CORAM, NY – A 31-year-old woman was arrested on a DWI charge after a single-car crash in Coram, police said.
According to Suffolk Police, Marta Garcia Ochoa was driving a 1999 Volkswagen Jetta south on Route 112, at the intersection of Middle Country Road, when she lost control of the car, causing it to crash and flip over at midnight.
Garcia Ochoa, of Ronkonkoma, was not injured. She was charged with DWI-previous conviction in past 10 years, wse of a vehicle without interlock device installed and first degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. She was held overnight and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip Tuesday morning.
