Woman Went on $10K Shopping Spree With Stolen Credit Cards: Cops

Suffolk Police are asking for the public's help to find her.

Police are asking for the public's help to find a woman who used stolen credit cards to make more than $10,000 in purchases at three stores last month.

According to Suffolk Police, the woman used the credit cards at Best Buy, Home Depot and Target in South Setauket on Jan. 3. The credit card was stolen from Port Jefferson Station earlier that day.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and your message to “CRIMES” (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com.
