2nd BK Subway Surfer Dead In Just 2 Weeks: Cops, Reports
A subway-surfing man in his 50s was dragged by a Q train — and is now Brooklyn's second subway surfing death this month.

PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS, NY — A subway surfer in his 50s died after being struck and dragged by a Q train in Brooklyn, according to reports and police.
The man was found dead Tuesday about 8:20 a.m. near Flatbush Avenue and Ocean Avenue, according to the NYPD.
The man was fatally struck by a Q train he was subway surfing on top of during rush hour — and a witness told the New York Post he was "going nuts" when he hopped on top of the train.

While he was on the train, his jacket got stuck on a signal pole, sending the man down to the tracks, according to the New York Post.
Tuesday's incident marks the second subway surfing death in just one month in Brooklyn.

On Jan. 12, 14-year-old Alam Reyes died after he was subway surfing on an F train near the Avenue N station, according to the New York Daily News.
"Subway surfing on top of a [subway] is a dangerous & reckless act. Don't risk your life for a thrill," NYPD representatives said in a tweet.
