Man Fatally Stabbed Inside Prospect Park, Cops Say

PROSPECT PARK, BROOKLYN — A man was fatally stabbed inside Prospect Park early Monday morning, according to police.

The 37-year-old man was found stabbed multiple times in his torso and arms near the Grand Army Plaza entrance of the park around 2:30 a.m., police said.

He was rushed to the hospital, but did not survive his injuries, police said.

A person had been taken into custody for the incident and charges were pending as of noon on Monday, police said.
