Man Steals $1.8K From Crown Heights Nail Salon: Police

The man snuck in through a window in the early morning hours, police say.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Police are searching for a man who they say snuck into a Crown Heights nail salon in the early morning hours and stole $1,800.

It happened last week, on Wednesday, Nov. 22, at 4:30 a.m. at the Sheer Madness beauty and nail salon on Franklin Avenue between St. Johns and Lincoln places, police said.

The man, pictured above in surveillance footage, got in through a rear window and took a box under a register than contained $1,800, according to police.

He fled the salon and hasn't been caught.
