Prospect Heights residents and chefs Joanna Knollmueller and Matt Fulton opened Stocked (635 Vanderbilt), a café focused on nutritious and homemade prepared food, in June of this year, as Patch previously reported. And the eatery does not disappoint, even when it comes to something as simple as yogurt and granola and a chai latte (pictured).
Price: $11.77 total
What's In It: Plain yogurt, dried raspberries and apricots, raisins and nuts. As for the chai latte, it's made with the regular stuff – just get it with soy milk.
Eat/Drink This Because: It's zestier than your average granola and yogurt, a Brooklyn staple – and it's a delicious alternative to a heavier breakfast. And for those light-hearted caffeine ingesters, a chai latte is a sweet way to perk up without the sweaty hands.
