Pedestrian Struck In Crown Heights Street, FDNY Says

BROOKLYN, NY — A pedestrian hit by a vehicle on Brooklyn Avenue Friday afternoon, according to the FDNY.

The pedestrian was struck near Brooklyn and East New York avenues about 1:30 p.m., fire officials confirmed.

Hatzolah, a volunteer emergency medial service organization, rushed injured person to a nearby hospital, according to the FDNY.

Since the Fire Department didn't treat the pedestrian, officials don't know the person's age or how badly they were hurt.

The crash happened at an intersection with traffic lights and marked crosswalks, Google Maps photos show.
