Tickets To Go On Sale For Brooklyn Botanic Garden's Holiday Light Show
The Lightscape exhibit sold out quickly in its first year in 2021. Here's how to snag one of the first tickets this week.

BROOKLYN, NY — A massive holiday light show that sent New Yorkers flocking to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens last year will return this holiday season — and tickets are about to be up for grabs.
Tickets for the "Lightscape" exhibit, which sold out in its first year in 2021, will go on sale to the public on Thursday. Botanic Garden members got their chance to snag tickets starting July 14.
"Celebrate the beauty of nature in winter on this enchanting trail with over a million dazzling lights," BBG officials said.

This year, Lightscape will run from November 16 through January 8.
It will include returning favorites from last season's "enchanting winter experience" alongside new works, according to organizers.

In its debut year, Lightscape brought 18 works of "light art" to the botanic garden grounds, including colorful displays on the garden's trees and site-specific music and sounds. The light show included a "Winter Cathedral tunnel," an animated light installation at the Cherry Esplanade and a "Fire Garden" in the garden's Oak Circle.
The tickets cost $40 per person for non-members, or $20 for children between 3 and 12 years old.
The exhibit will be closed certain dates, including around Thanksgiving and on Christmas A special Family Benefit Evening is also planned on December 7.
