12-Year-Old Arrested After Anti-Semitic Attacks In Far Rockaway: NYPD

QUEENS — A 12-year-old boy was arrested on Tuesday after he and a couple of other teens shouted anti-Semitic slurs and threw rocks at two people in Far Rockaway earlier this month, police said.

The boy was with a group that threw rocks and directed anti-Semitic remarks at a 49-year-old man on Caffrey Avenue and Mott Avenue around 2:45 p.m. on April 7, cops said.

One of the girls in the group threatened the man with a razor before a stranger intervened and the trio of teens fled, the NYPD said.

About seven hours later, the 12-year-old and the two other teens yelled anti-Semitic slurs at a 48-year-old man and pushed him on Brookhaven Avenue and Beach 17 Street before fleeing, authorities said.

Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
