12-Year-Old Subway Surfer Falls On Tracks In Elmhurst: NYPD

The boy was on a moving 'R' train near the Elmhurst Av station about 7 p.m. Wednesday, the NYPD said.

QUEENS — A 12-year-old boy slipped onto the subway tracks after he tried to move from moving train car to another on Wednesday night, police said.

The boy was on a moving 'R' train near the Elmhurst Av station about 7 p.m. Wednesday, the NYPD said.

He was in between train cars when he slipped and fell onto the tracks, authorities said.

The 12-year-old was taken to a hospital in Harlem in stable condition, cops said.
