2 Killed In Separate Queens Homicides, NYPD Says
A person of interest was taken into custody in one of the incidents.

QUEENS, NY — A man was stabbed to death and another was fatally shot in separate incidents in Queens on Tuesday, police announced.
The first incident happened inside 97-34 103 Street around 7:45 p.m., police said.
Officers found a 39-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A person of interest was taken into custody after the incident. No charges have been filed as of Wednesday morning.

The 39-year-old's identity has not been released pending family notification.
The second incident happened in front of 192 Beach 115 Street around 9:00 p.m., police said.
Officers found 37-year-old Brandon Williams with a stab wound to the chest and left wrist. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Additional details into the incident were not readily available.
No arrests have been made. An investigation remains ongoing.
