Shooting Threat At Flushing High School, 1 In Custody: NYPD
The school was under lockdown about 10:15 a.m. after a student threatened to shoot, police said.

QUEENS — A Flushing high school was on lockdown Friday morning after a student threatened to shoot with an imitation pistol, police said.
Flushing High School at 35-01 Union St. went under lockdown about 10:15 a.m., police said.
One person was apprehended and the lockdown was lifted, according to police.

Authorities said the student was carrying an imitation pistol.
The threat comes days after a shooter opened fire at the Covenant School, a Nashville, Tennessee, Presbyterian school, killing three 9-year-olds and three adults. The attack was the deadliest school shooting in the country since last May’s massacre in Uvalde, Texas.
